About the Episcopal Church

As Episcopalians, we are followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and we believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Episcopal Church has members in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Venezuela, Curaçao, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Haiti, Honduras, Micronesia, Taiwan, and the Virgin Islands. It is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion and traces its heritage to the beginnings of Christianity.

The Episcopal Church in Delaware

Founded in 1785, the Episcopal Church in Delaware is one of the nine original dioceses of the Episcopal Church in the United States. Rooted in a rich history yet continually growing, the diocese remains committed to welcoming people from all walks of life into communities of faith, service, and belonging.

Trinity Episcopal Church is also a proud member of the Episcopal Parish Network, a community of churches committed to faithful ministry and serving others in the Episcopal tradition.
